09/27/2016 - Our change in billing procedure has generated incorrect "Past Due" messages on some bills. If you are an Auto Pay customer and received an August bill with a due date of 9/30/16, you also received a new one-month bill with a due date of 10/31/16. The "Past Due" message is incorrect; auto payments scheduled for 9/30/16 will be processed as normal.

September Transition

In an effort to get bills to customers in a more timely manner, a 'transitional' September billing was necessary to implement new procedures. This will bring service period and meter reads closer together in the future. More details can be found in our September Newsletter.

Hydro Data

HYDROLOGY is the study of the movement, distribution, and quality of water, including the hydrologic cycle, water resources and environmental watershed sustainability. The PUD gathers and compiles extensive hydrological data in order to accurately monitor water resources.

Community Networks

Community Owned High-Speed Open-Access broadband service is being made available for residents in Kitsap County. Kitsap PUD is expanding our network to homes throughout the county to meet resident's needs, using the COS Service Zones software to prioritize our residential expansions.

The Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County have reviewed the preliminary budget for 2017 and placed it on file in the records of the District. Hearing on the proposed budget and associated revenues is set for Monday October 3, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., 1431 Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, Washington, at which time the public may discuss the various portion of the budget.
