Fiber lines are beginning to return to service.

We anticipate restoration of fiber internet service to South Kitsap within the next three hours. The fiber line was intentionally cut, and the incident is under police investigation.
UPDATE: 11:30 a.m.
KPUD crews are on scene locating the break in the fiber. We anticipate several hours for repair. Updates will be provided as available.
KPUD is aware of a fiber internet outage impacting the South Kitsap area.
Crews are investigating the cause, and we will provide an update when available.
