KPUD Fiber Internet Customers – South Bainbridge Island
INTERNET OUTAGE

7:00 a.m.
- Fiber internet service has been restored.
- If you experience connectivity issues, please contact your ISP directly to report the concern.
Wednesday, December 3, 2025
6:15 p.m.
- Additional fiber lines have been disconnected and more customers are being impacted.
- There area approximately 70 customers without internet access.
- KPUD crews will work through the night until service is restored.
- This will be that last update for the evening.
- Again, thank you for your patience as we work to get you back online.
5:30 p.m.
- In order to replace a damaged section, the crew needs to disconnect additional fiber lines. This will increase the number of customers experiencing the internet outage.
- If we are able to determine at what time that may happen, information will be provided here.
- We still anticipate this lengthy repair to go through the night and possibly into the morning.
- The original fiber cut was a result of contractor work near the area.
2:30 p.m.
- Several cuts occurred to the fiber line and repair is complicated. Additionally, the cuts occurred in an area that is difficult to access.
- KPUD is onsite working to repair the fiber break.
- Although there is not ETA for restoration, we anticipate repairs continuing throughout the night and possible into the morning.
- Crews will remain onsite until repairs are complete.

10:45 a.m.
- KPUD is aware of a break in a fiber line impacting South Bainbridge Island internet customers in the Baker Hill and Lynwood Centers.
- Crews are enroute to investigate the issue and access damage.
- At this time, there is no ETA for restoration.
