Indian Hills Water System (Poulsbo) – System Improvement
Date: September 17, 2024
Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm
KPUD crews will be making system improvements to the Indian Hills Water System through the installation of isolation valves. This work will impact your water service.
Customers located south of State Highway 305 NE will experience reduced water pressure, and customers located north of State Highway 305 NE will experience a water service outage.
The following streets will be impacted by the water outage:
- Seminole Rd NE
- Kiowa Ct NE
- NE Chippewa Ct
- Crow Ct NE
After this work is complete, KPUD will flush the main and bacterial tests will be taken to ensure that no contamination occurred during the system upgrade. We anticipate receiving the sample results by Wednesday. Until sample results are available, KPUD is issuing a precautionary boil advisory for your water.
We recommend taking precautionary steps by boiling any water that is to be consumed or used in food preparation until we receive clear results from the water samples. Customers should bring the water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute and let cool before drinking.
