- The damage caused to the fiber infrastructure from the storm is extensive and requires lengthy repair.
- Crews will work through the night.
- Currently no ETA for restoration.
12:00 p.m.
- Puget Sound Energy is starting to clear areas where power has been restored.
- As areas are cleared, KPUD crews are being deployed to investigate and begin repairs as necessary.

- Several hundred customers remain without fiber internet access.
- KPUD crews will work to restore fiber service caused by power outages and downed lines after the power company restores power and clears the scene. We cannot access areas for infrastructure repair until safe to do so.

Due to current weather conditions, customers throughout the county are experiencing fiber internet outages. Some outages are due to power loss and others may be due to damaged lines. If you are experiencing an outage, please notify your retail service provider who will then report it to KPUD.
