  • All services have been restored.
  • If you experience connectivity issues, please contact your ISP directly to report the issue. KPUD works directly with ISPs to manage reported concerns outages.
  • Thank you for your patience during the outage.

January 22, 2025 – 7:10 p.m. 

  • Crews have just begun the process of splicing the locations in need of repair.
  • Splicing can take many hours depending on the complexity.
  • We still have no ETA for restoration; however our crews will continue working until service is restored.
  • This will be the last update for the evening.

January 22, 2025 – 5:10 p.m. 

  • Within the next 30 minutes some customers might be restored based on our ability to re-route connections; however, the majority of customers will remain out.
  • Work has not yet begun on the main infrastructure where the break occurred.
  • KPUD crews will work through the night until service is restored.
  • We still have no ETA for restoration at this time.
  • We will provide a final update for the evening here at 7:00 p.m.
  • Thank you for your patience as we work to restore your fiber.

January 22, 2025 – 3:20 p.m. 

  • A vehicle has caused a break in our fiber lines at Northlake Way and Kitsap Lake Rd
  • Originally thought to be impacting only a limited area, we have now determined that this is causing pocketed outages throughout Bremerton and Silverdale.
  • Once the roadway is cleared, assessment will begin for repairs needed.
  • We have no ETA for restoration at this time.
  • Another update will be provided here at 5:00 p.m.

January 22, 2025 – 2:30 p.m. 

  • KPUD Crews are responding to reports of a fiber outage. Cause of outage is unknown at this time.
  • Updates will be posted here as soon as available.
