Boil Water Advisory Lifted
We are pleased to report that recent water quality testing has returned with satisfactory results. All samples meet the required safety standards. As a result, the precautionary boil water advisory is no longer in effect, and normal water use may resume immediately.
5:30 p.m.
- Repair is complete and we are currently flushing the water system.
- KPUD is issuing a precautionary boil water notice for certain addresses. You will receive a doorhanger on your door by 9:00 p.m. if you are impacted by the notice.
- If you have concerns after 8:00 p.m. please call us at 360-779-7656 to speak with our on-call technician.
2:30 p.m.
- This is a confirmed water main break.
- KPUD Crews are onsite conducting repair.
- We anticipate repair to be complete by 5:00 p.m. with flushing to follow.
- Experiencing some discolored water and decreased pressure during flushing is normal. Please contact us if you lose water completely.

- KPUD is aware of a possible water main break in the Navy Yard Park Water System in the vicinity east of Sidney Road SW between SW Taft and SW Blackjack.
- Crews are enroute.
