Important Water System Notice

Due to well and pump development, KPUD Newberry Hill (Silverdale) customers may notice air in the water.
The air in the water is an aesthetic-only issue; your water continues to be sampled per Washington State Department of Health and the Environmental Protection Agency's safe drinking water regulations and remains safe to drink.
The water contains compressed air which makes the water cloudy at first, but the air quickly dissipates and the water clears.
We believe that the air in the water condition is temporary and will be resolved with continued use of the well. Updates will be provided as available.
