Water quality tests show no contamination. Your water is safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil your tap water.

KPUD is still waiting on lab results from the bacteriological sample that was collected on 1/31/2025. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice. We will provide another update here at Noon today.

KPUD is still waiting on lab results from the bacteriological sample that was collected on 1/31/2025. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until Monday (2/3/25) when results are expected to be received. Please check back Monday morning by 9:00am for the next update.

Due to an emergency water main repair in the Eldorado Water System, KPUD is issuing a precautionary boil advisory for the red shaded area on the map below beginning immediately.
KPUD is currently repairing the main and there is no ETA for completion at this time.
We recommend taking precautionary steps by boiling any water that is to be consumed or used in food preparation until we receive clear results from the bacteria samples. Customers should bring the water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute and let cool before drinking.
After the repair is complete, KPUD will flush the main and bacterial tests will be taken to ensure that no contamination occurred during the repair. We anticipate receiving the sample results by Saturday.
