KPUD will perform scheduled maintenance work to replace the well pump motor on the Strawberry Hill Water System. Although we are not anticipating water service to be impacted, the system well will not be running during the maintenance, and we ask residents to use water thoughtfully to ensure adequate supply for essential needs and to conserve water based on the suggestions below.
Tips to Help Conserve Water
- Postpone non-essential water use: Avoid filling hot tubs, swimming pools, or other large water storage units.
- Limit outdoor water usage: Reduce or delay lawn watering, car washing, and other outside activities.
- Be mindful indoors: Fix leaks promptly, run only full loads in dishwashers and washing machines, and avoid letting water run unnecessarily.
