Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (KPUD) will receive sealed bid proposals for TEL-260251 Hintzville LUD-43 Phase 1 Fiber Project on January 31, 2023, until 1:00 p.m., at the KPUD Administrative Offices located 1431 Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, Washington 98370. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Finn Hill Road location.
Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment, and materials required for the installation of KPUD provided fiber cables from the KPUD Node located at 16451 NW Church Road, Seabeck to the Hintzville community using the strand and lash construction methods along PSE poles, and installation of conduit in Kitsap County ROW. Coordinate with participating homeowners for the proper location and installation of the conduit/duct and demarc placements. Installing KPUD provided vaults, pedestals, multi-port terminals (MPT), and ROC drops. Contractor will be required to provide all 4” conduit and rolled duct, as indicated in the Construction Specifications & Contract Documents located in the Related Documents section of this webpage. To be considered a plan holder for addenda, a contractor must register with KPUD by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email must identify the desire to be added to the plan holders list, include project name, contractor name, contact name, contact email address, and contact telephone. Only registered plan holders will receive email notices of addenda and other updates.
