KCSD7 Sewer Services Transition to KPUD
As of January 1, 2026, Kitsap County Sewer District 7 (KCSD7), also known as Fort Ward Sewer, has transferred its sewer and wastewater operations to Kitsap Public Utility District (KPUD). This carefully planned transition follows more than a year of collaboration between the two agencies and is designed to ensure seamless service and long-term stability for the community.
KCSD7 leaves behind an award-winning legacy of environmental stewardship and reliable service, which KPUD is honored to carry forward. KPUD is now responsible for all sewer and wastewater services previously provided by the District, building on the strong foundation established over decades of public service.
