KPUD water customers will soon receive a postcard in the mail with dates and times that the KPUD Board of Commissioners will meet to discuss the utilities rate study findings and rate proposals.
We've been working with a public sector utility and financial consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive utility rate study for water, wastewater, and telecommunications services.
As a community-owned utility, our rates are required to cover the cost of providing services. This study will assist in determining revenue needs to ensure rates and other resources fully cover all utility costs. It will also help design rates that balance KPUD priorities and preserve revenue stability.
